      Clear artifacts associated with previously established persistence like scheduletasks on a host.

    • Legitimate hosting services abused for malware hosting/C2

      Uses a legitimate IP lookup service to find the infected system's external IP.

      Bootkits write to the MBR to gain persistence at a level below the operating system.
